But simply known to me
I’ll never know the day or the hour
Or to be lucky, to thank what power
That someday she will see me
And I don’t know what I will be
Should I jump up to fall and crash?
Maybe I can fly at last
So I imagine there is a sky
Impossible and yet I try
Some Mountains aren’t meant to be climbed
But simply known as divine
How many pairs, the hills and the slopes
And yet I know there is no hope
That she will ever give me a chance
Never to climb, never to stand
Fingers to trace such paths unknown
Am I a man, aren’t I grown?
So I imagine a pair of mountains
Impossible, should I shout it?
Some Waters aren’t meant to be swum
But simply it looks like fun
To wade, to swim, to drown, a dive
Look so good I can’t deny
That she will someday let me
Love again, to be that deep
I’ve been so blue, so many waters
But I’ve swam with no one’s daughter
So I imagine the tide is high
Impossible, I’m still dry
Some Lands aren’t meant to be crossed
But simply felt and lost
My life a desert, I dream of posh
I’m going crazy, just a mirage
That she will help me give me a clue
Which way is forward, why do I move?
All of my steps, on a road to nowhere
Walking on eggshells, I am so scared
So I imagine the open and wide
Impossible but Hell I’ve survived
Some Questions aren’t meant to be answered
But simply repeated, a virus, a cancer
Why I see a whole new world
And I can’t find a single girl
That someday she will find me
Without love I’m not happy
How I seek to know such fame
But no one wants to know my name
So I imagine I will learn
Impossible, I will but burn
Why say some, indeed it’s all
Oh dear world just toss me off
Dream of a girl, of getting some
Impossible the answer’s none
But I imagine there is a way
Can’t kill hope but no someday
Which way to the logical
Welcome To Impossible
