Wallflower

A decoration
In a loss location
As if an invitation

If such a beauty on me adorned
After such ridicule and scorn
To no longer be loss and rejected
As I picked her, accepted

As if an inclination
I feel such anticipation
Wanting my participation

It came as such a thought
I felt myself caught
The rush and the adrenaline
In the pursuit of sin

Am I mistaken?
Will be forsaken
In this situation

I have been before
But love’s for…
Tonight
Wrong or right

We are playing
Laying
But is she staying

As we danced
Romanced
And we lay
Night gives way to day

Is this vacation?
A hellish invocation
Hidden behind elation

For love I know
Let go or help grow
To be without her
I love my wallflower
