A pain
Both yours and mine
Could have been a handshake
Or a wave goodbye
Tomorrow’s best seller
It’s Exhibit A
The last grasp
Of the living
The sanity that remained in me
You shouldn’t have been scared
Maybe an adventure
A lover or a child
It’s Exhibit A
The last touch
Shouldn’t have been me
Mine is yet to come
Should it have been temptation?
Love
Or even a goodbye
It’s Exhibit A
The last idea
Some thought of life
A need to kill
Going to get milk
World with more birthdays
Creating
It’s Exhibit A
The last moment
Not wireless
Or scorned words
There is such beauty in the world
But to be together
To die
It’s Exhibit A
In the end that’s all
Not words
Photographs
Just blood
And a sinner
Neither your name
Or mine
Truth or lies
Just Exhibit A
Case Closed
