Where Paradise Grows

Colors spring up
Clothes, shoes
Like fallen leaves
But did we choose
This love

Yet not so tough
To love you

Rivers falling
Like me and you
Cascading down
What we do
More than awing

Under birds calling
Being with you

Burning and yearning
All of us far
But reaching
For the stars
Learning

Bodies turning
Not in the dark

Others
Not here
Free and bare
Only us dear
Paradise is us

You not any other
Wanted so near

And life
Is given reason
To grow
Our love not a season
A future so bright

This is paradise
You’re my reason

To know
Of love
Nature, biology, and wild
You’re all I’m dreaming of
Where my paradise grows
